Rum distilleryTop 10 rainy day activities
You can see local rum production for yourself at the Rum Distillery (formerly the Magic Alambic Rum Distillery). The distillery was founded in 2003 by a French couple and produces rum from sugar cane.
To this day, each step is still done by hand, and as a final step, the rum produced has to mature for around 6 months. To be legally sold afterwards, the alcohol content must not exceed 40%.
A rum tasting is of course available for a small extra fee. You can also buy one or more bottles after the tasting. A perfect gift for your loved ones back home.
