For an entrance fee of 200 THB you can choose between the heart-shaped stone (Valentine Stone), the Siva Tara Waterfall, the fish spa, or the 10-minute climb up to the viewpoint. After the steep climb up a small concrete path to the viewpoint, a cosy open wooden platform awaits you with a beautiful view over the Gulf of Thailand and Lamai Beach.

This unique 8-metre-high rock sits at a dizzying height, perfectly balanced on another mineral rock. The grand view of the beach and the surrounding jungle of Samui makes up for the steep climb. Finding the Overlap Stone itself is an adventure, but don't worry - I'll tell you exactly how to get there.
Best to follow the Google Maps link provided at the end of this article. Just before you reach the GPS destination, look out for a small red plastic arrow nailed to a palm tree on your left. From there it's not far - you can safely park your vehicle in the small car park and follow the nature trail for the remaining 3 minutes. It's a small dirt path that leads you directly to the sturdy concrete bridge connecting the free-standing rock to the property, where a friendly Thai family lives.

We stumbled upon this completely unknown viewpoint by chance during a trip. There's no particular spot you need to look for, as the whole hillside offers a fascinating view of the Bang Por coastline. As a bonus, you can also enjoy a wonderful sunset over the Gulf of Thailand from there!
To reach the viewpoint, follow the ring road to Amando's Restaurant in Bang Por. Right across from it, next to the 7-Eleven, a small road leads towards the mountain. Follow the paved road for about 1 kilometre, then turn right. After about 500 metres you'll pass a small man-made lake. From there it's only another 400 metres, and after two 90-degree bends you'll arrive at the secret viewpoint.
Experienced drivers can continue further up the adventurous winding road to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. This viewpoint is a real insider tip, and you'll probably have the view all to yourself.
